This is a fixed term contract position (1 Year) , working Monday to Friday, starting approx. May 2026.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all Food safety, GMP and QC checks are being carried out, as specified in work instructions, HACCP, calibration and process control documents.
- Carry out factory audits of systems related to food safety and quality, including guidance and assistance to close out any non-conformance raised.
- Hands on role working in a factory environment for periods of time.
- Demonstrate safe working practices with procedures always followed.
- Ensure product traceability, accurate data recording & understanding of tolerances.
- Train operators on basic quality & hygiene matters.
- Collect samples for lab testing and from customer requests.
- Ensure information availability for generating customer certificates.
- Assisting with the investigation of customer complaints.
- Ensure hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
- Any other task reasonably requested by a Manager.
Skills Required:
- Displays effective communication, listening, influencing and persuading skills at all levels.
- Confident using a Computer.
- Self-organisation, motivation, planning, prioritising and time management.
- Knowledge and understanding of the factory operation and the quality requirements of the both the business and the customer.
Essential Experience:
- Knowledge of the HACCP system
- Knowledge of BRCGS
- Experience in a food production environment
- Food hygiene qualification
